downhill_biker Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 I am looking for lights for a new tank I was given that is 30" long. I can go with a 30" or 24" light. Species doesn't matter. Metal Halide pendant, T-5, Compact Flourescent, VHO. The kind of lighting I can find will dictate what kind of corals I keep in the tank. biomekanic Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 I have a dual 24" CF unit, one of the Coralife ones. 2 x 65w It has 3 legs ( came that way used ) but I think I have a spare leg around somewhere. Personally, I don't like the legs at all. I picked up back mounting system that lets you tilt the lights, and I live that a lot more. Much more stable.
