Well I'm upgrading my current tank setup and am doing my own retro fit for halides. I was curious if anyone knew of a good place to get thin polished aluminum for a reflector?

I'm gonna end up needing a piece about 24inches by 16 inches.

Parkrose Hardware here in Vancouver stocks it ($30 for a 4'x5' sheet, a bargain); I'll bet the one on Sandy (across from SWF) does too. If you don't want a full sheet, I have some excess I can sell/trade to you. LMK.

you could also get a solar tube extention from lowes or home depot.

That is a great idea those things are like a mirror inside(rock2) Plus they are already round you just cut them in half and you have an instant reflector.

Another place might be Began truck repair. It is a tanker truck repair shop & it's located in the same parking lot as Sea Horse Aquarium Supply in Portland. They may sell some scrap pieces.
