Dego Red Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and was directed here from TRT. I'm seven weeks deep into my cycle, and everything has been changing as expected, but over this entire time I've gotten the exact same ammonia reading (~0.25 - 0.5, Salifert). I'm starting to think my kit is bad - NO2 is at zero, NO3 is climbing, and diatoms are dying, suggesting the end of the cycle. Would someone in the area be willing run a quick ammonia test for me so I have a comparison? I'd really appreciate it, and can bring the sample to you to make it painless. Thanks!
