johnsare
Hello everyone! I'm new to this hobby and setting up my first reef tank. I've had freshwater tanks, but never a saltwater. Anyway, I decided to build as much of this as I can, and I was hoping to get your input in my sump design. I'm a little limited on space as I only have a 20 long to use, but I drew out a scale model incorporating all the equipment I plan on putting in there. Please let me know what you think of the design and if you'd change anything! The baffles will be 7.5 inches tall, which should leave about 12.5 gallons of water in the sump at any time once everything is fine tuned. Attached are photos of the 50 gallon acrylic tank I built, and my sump design. Thanks for your time!
