AquaKey Posted December 20, 2021 Share Posted December 20, 2021 Thought I'd share my experience setting up my saltwater mixing station in the garage. In setting up my RODI on the cold water side of the tankless water heater I realized the hot water recirculation coming back through the cold water side was too warm and worried it could damage the RO membrane. Just had to change the water heater settings to recirculate internally instead of through the cold water system. It'll affect having instant hot water at faucets in the house but the family (and guests) always complain the cold water takes too long to get cold, so we'll try this setup and see how it works.
