I am a newbie and I was wonder if these would hold over while my tank is being set up. I have a total of 6, 30 GAL rubbermaid totes and water was just mixed yesterday afternoon. If not, could I get enough water to hold them over for a few days to about a week? I am new so bare with me please, I am hooked already.

Thanks

They would hold in a tub for a long time, if there is circulation and enough light. They could even go a day or two with no/minimal light (ask anyone that has turned their lights off for a couple of days to get rid of algae).

Rics are one of the more hardy things next to zoas and mushrooms.

If you're just setting the tank up, I'd suggest not putting anything in there until the tank is cycled.
