tidalsculpin Posted August 28, 2007 Share Posted August 28, 2007 Most tanks made it alright through the summer. I had a major tank flub up. My 40 anemone tank leaked catastrophically, but I am rebuilding. The tank has good readings but is not as far along with critters for my class as i had hoped. No anemones were in there at the time of the leak(except aiptasia). Clowns will be placed in there soon. The 60 g reef is happy though needs a good coralline scraping. The coldwater is doing fine. There was one loss: The gumboot chiton. I got him out before he fouled the whole tank. I plan on doing another collection in the fall. I dropped temp to 56 for the whole summer. All animals benefited from the drop. Now i get to teach from the tanks every day in two of my five classes. Yahoo! This is going to be fun. Sorry, I have not checked things lately on the boards. I was real busy with the start up of school. Kids are psyched up about the start of school. It is going to be a great year.
