DIY overflow help

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot but either way... I decided to do my own HOB overflow setup out of PVC pipe. It's working great minus one little setback. I can't seem to get it to quiet down. It's doing a obnoxious gurgling sound. I've tried a lot of little things but I figured I'd ask on here before I try to pick up a HOB overflow online. I'll shoot some pictures of my setup with this.

Thanks in advance guys!

This isn't mine but it's kinda the same setup I got.

And I used this video to build it.

I figured this out btw. I had to much flow from the pump. The overflow could handle it but it causes a gurgling sound. I added a valve to control the flow. To little flow causes a loud sloshing noise. Just incase anybody uses this and has these issues.
