defigart Posted July 17, 2007 Share Posted July 17, 2007 I got these heater in a package deal a while back. They are both Coralife brand. Any idea hot powerful the heaters are, or how I can tell? Are they SW safe or how I can tell. Finally, should I use the UV Sterilizer on a reef tank? wanareef Posted August 1, 2007 Share Posted August 1, 2007 On the sterilizer, I would put it on the return side - kind of like the final "clean" before the tank. Barelycuda Posted August 26, 2007 Share Posted August 26, 2007 I have read that a lot of people don't like uv sterilizers on reef tanks as they think that they remove beneficial bacteria that the reef tank needs.
