More Firefish

I have one red firefish, and I am planning on adding another red and two purples. Will this make my current firefish be more brave and stay out more? He can be reclusive at times. No worries about food though. He does great with feeding.

How long have you had the current firefish? Maybe it just needs more time to acclimate. I had 2 one time and introduced them together in a 55 gallon take and the more aggressive one kept picking on it until it finally died. So adding 2 more could backfire on you. You just never know. It also could be another fish in the tank is picking on it so adding another 2 may help. I had a little purple tang that was getting picked on by a wrasse and then I added a well established yellow tang and he protected the purple tang. You just never know.????

My tang is settling it's territory. It would be helpful to add a couple I think. It's three to one too.
