Robyna_baby Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 So we got an emerald crab to deal with some bubble alge in my 16gal.. Ended up that it attacked my Pompom crab.. (The whole reason we set up the 16gal was for him!) Ripped off his claws so he lost his pompoms, and he lost at least 3 legs.. It was not pretty.. Husband found him beat up but couldn't find the emerald so we put Rocky (the Pompom) in the refugium till we found the mean crab.. Found him a few days later and threw him in the display and put Rocky back in the 16gal. The NEXT day he molted and already has all his legs back and his claws! It's amazing! So cool how they recover and so quickly!
