Apex and reefstar LED

I was planning on buying a Reefstar Alpha LED light with controller but I have been having issues with temperature control. The tank would get too cold or too hot. I have two heater that I have to constantly adjust (includes unplugging and plugging in). I was thinking of getting a temperature controller, then I realize It maybe better to get an apex lite controller. There is no point in buying a separate controller for the light and having an Apex controller.  I would use the controller for more than just temperature and lighting control. An apex control would make working with my tank smoother. Can the apex control the Reefstar alpha LED? I know the apex controller can control other LED lights but Reefstar seems like a better deal to buy.

Most likely no. Get yourself a cheap temp controller from eBay or Amazon. I think it's less than 20. I'll see if I can dig up a link. I have a reefkeeper for temp control. Had it doing a couple other things but since changed my setup.

The controller is required until the wifi models come out. Once you set it up you rarely need to change the settings. So yeah other than the cool factor of changing the light setup from your phone, it's not something you tamper with all the time.

By the way. Even if it is compatible with apex. You would have to shell out around $100 for an apex module anyway. Same goes for the hydra and radions.

The Apex website made it sound like the light control feature was build-in and no additional module was needed. I figure I just invest the 100 for the reefstar controller into the apex.  I think I will just buy the temperature controller and the controller for the reefstar. Thanks for answering my question.
