Toby Flenderson
I got some rock from a nice guy who torn down his tank due to multiple bouts with velvet. I'm planning on using this rock some time in the distant future and Im wondering what the best way is to make it dry dead rock. And obviously destroy and velvet on the rocks. Anyone dealt with this? pnkrcklives
I would just leave it outside till completly dry. Then take a garden hose and wash it off and scrub it with a brush.
Toby Flenderson
What about circulating it in bleach water?
pnkrcklives
That may work too. I would be afraid of residual bleach getting stuck in the pores of the rock.
