racefan Posted April 21, 2012 Share Posted April 21, 2012 I replaced the hard drive on my daughters laptop (WD Scorpio Black 250GB 7200rpm. Nice HDD, fast, quiet) Here's where I screwed up. I installed the OS first. After reading a bit on why Media Direct would not install I found out it should be installed beforethe OS. Am I screwed or is there a way around it?
