DChemist
Hi All, I want/need an inexpensive powerhead anchor- I'm learning to really hate suction cups. I haven't spent alot of time searching for plans- I was hoping someone here had some good ideas, had made these before, or had seen some good plans somewhere else. I've seen the magnetic one posted in this forum before- but I was wanting something more simple. The powerheads are maxi-jets. I want it to be simple and inexpensive. And I don't want it to look too ghetto. In return for your feedback- I'll post my progress. Thanks.
andy
I used a long nylon bolt and nylon hardware threaded through the eurobracing hole. I just bolted fed it up through one of the widgets that slides into the maxijet body.
impur
I use a strip of acrylic. I drilled a few holes down the middle so i can vary the height of the pump in the tank. I held it over the stove burner for a few seconds to make the bend over the edge of the tank. Works out great!
