closed loop pump / flow advice

So I've been messing a lot with my tanks flow and would like to get some help.

 

What I've got is a Mag 9.5 return and a closed loop system consisting of 4x 1" outlets with a Reeflo snapper (3600 gph) powering it.

 

Well I have the snapper throttled down pretty hard, which is burning a lot of power so I'm looking to get a pump that would provide decent flow for a mixed reef. My soft corals hardly open fulling the way I've got it now ;( . However I want to keep my sps happy... I would like it to be an external pump only, that has decent sound control and is energy efficient.
