pex Posted January 26, 2012 Share Posted January 26, 2012 The Dino Doozer Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds to send local children with Neurofibromatosis and related cancers to Camp NewFriends, a special camp in Virgina for children with NF, is hosting their 2nd Annual Masquerade Ball in Longview on March 10th. The main entertainment will be Craig Meyer, AKA "Almost Elton John". Craig plays the piano and sings covers of Elton John and is THE Elton John impersonator in show business today. He has worked with (the real) Elton John, Barry Manilow, and others as well as having appearances and performances on "Will and Grace", several Disney films, and headlines on Princess Cruiselines. pex Posted March 5, 2012 Author Share Posted March 5, 2012 Just a bump... the ball is this coming Saturday! We only have about 70 tickets left... and if you're worried about dressing up, no sweat! Some people go balls to the wall with a tux or ball gown and Venetian mask, others dress up in period costumes, and some people show up in jeans and a nice shirt... it's only about having a nice, fun night out to raise money for the kids- anything goes!
