psaprilcruz
Ok so now that I am going to set the 20 gallon back up. I was wondering if I could add a sandsiffting goby and what type would be best. The tank will have my pair of perculas as the only other fish. acuraguy55
sleeper goby might also be an option but get around 5" long term, maybe a goby and shrimp pair?
NoobtoSalt
sleeper goby might also be an option but get around 5" long term' date=' maybe a goby and shrimp pair?[/quote'] yeah I definately agree. I was wanting to do larger fish just since I'm so used to it with having a 240 gallon tank but now that I've dropped to a 29 biocube I can't do much in the tank either. Myself I'm leaning towards doing a Yasha goby and tiger shrimp. I wasn't looking at their tank size earlier. A diamond goby would get too big and would more than likely starve in a smaller tank I would guess too.
psaprilcruz
What else could I use for cleaning the sand. I am not a huge snail fan, plus one of my hermits thinks anything with a shell should be killed as soon as it hits the water. I got lucky that he didn't kill the little hermit I had as a hitch hiker on some rock I got.
psaprilcruz
I went in to reef tech and they have some two spot gobys that they said would work. Any thoughts on them.
gradth
If you go with a goby, be sure to cover the top some how. They like to jump. You can find pretty small diamond gobies. But they will eventually outgrow a 20.
Gabe
The two spot goby is sweet, but a little tough to keep. I don't know of many that last long term. I like the watchman goby personaly.
Bigjohnwoody
I have a diamond goby and he keeps my 120 spotless. However he creates sand piles everywhere and likes to spit sand on some of my lower corals. Everyone that comes to my house thinks he/she is the coolest fish they have ever seen though. Kind of a love hate relationship.
