Algae Posted August 13, 2011 Share Posted August 13, 2011 The Perseid Meteor Shower is supposed to happen tonight and tomorrow. Unfortunately, with a full moon it will likely be unspectacular. I have heard that you can tune a FM radio between stations and it will ping or make a small noise. The strangest thing I ever saw was going outside one night about ten years ago in Eugene and seeing the lights of Junction City. But it wasn't. It was the Northern Lights! I have heard rumors that we have a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights this year in Oregon. I saw them up in Canada a few years ago and it was spectacular.
