Soncho
I am building a new cabinet/stand for my tank, I am almost to the point of painting it. Any suggestion or experience with the best paint to withstand saltwater? (I will try to get some photos of the stand soon) thanks!
414driver
Paint or a wood finish?? For a wood finish I recommend Waterlox. Extremely tough stuff and applies like Watco Oil....a georgeous finish in 3-4 thin coats. 1 can does 125 sq ft. Impervious to salt! If a paint definetly an oil or epoxy base. 414driver
If you paint it...use oil based with Japan drier added to dry quicker and Penetrol to smooth out your brushstrokes.
