impur Posted June 14, 2011 Share Posted June 14, 2011 I don't know if Lowes is gonna carry much of what you need. You'll need tubing, some electrical tape, some wirenuts or crimps...... Here is what i did. I went to aquahub.com and bought 2 float switches, the moldable holder, and a relay and socket (can get at Radio Shack). I have a 5gal ATO reservoir, and an Aqualifter to move the water from the reservoir to the sump. One float switch is a fail safe, the other triggers the aqualifter to send water once the water level lowers. The relay keeps the electrical spike from ruining the aqualifter. I guess this all depends on if you want a mechanical or electrical setup. I should have probably asked that first. Are you wanting to connect your RODI unit to a floatswitch or do you want to use a reservoir and pump to provide the topoff water? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
