kschaefers
So about every two weeks after my lights turn off and my moonlights come on my fish go into a feeding frenzy when I look at the tank I just see these tiny things floating around and wiggling they are big on the top and what looks like a small tail I'm assuming they are copepods? but I don't know they aren't there every night so I'm assuming they are hatching somewhere in the sump every now and then or possibly in the tank I can't get a picture due to the size of them but I'm just wondering if this is something that all reefers experience and if its a good thing
Kempo66
They sound like pods to me. They are very common, and concidered to be a good thing. Your fish are getting a free snack!
Bigjohnwoody
Do you have cleaner shrimp? My spawn very regularly and the baby shrimp kinda look like pods. My fish go crazy as well.
Chindo
I have something that looks like little white dots and are all over my glass on the inside..... could they be pods too?
cellowithgills
I have something that looks like little white dots and are all over my glass on the inside..... could they be pods too? Those would probably be non-parasitic isopods.
