Nancymacc Posted May 19, 2011 Share Posted May 19, 2011 Okay so this set up has been running now for about a month with no changes to any of the plumbing. Not a sound from the Durso, today it has started making gurgling noises at regular intervals....I checked the small vent hole to see if there was salt crusting it and it was clean. Mohaynow Posted May 19, 2011 Share Posted May 19, 2011 is the drain runing into a filter sock? if so is the end of the drain under water? if you answered yes to one or both of these questions (laugh) try changing your filter sock, or drilling holes in the end of the pipe thats under water so it looke like a swiss cheese pipe. I have had a durso make a flushing noise when the end is under too much water, or if there is a low spot in the drain tube that traps air bubbles.
