Gill
http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/for/2278074900.html Realized it's only a 250, not such a good deal.
jgf86123
I wouldn't pay that for it...I'd offer him 1500 an not budge off that. Look close, either I'm blind as a bat, or there is 0 live rock in that tank that I can see, unless it's 30-40lbs of rubble or something.... Gill
I just realized it's only a 240, for some reason I thought it was much larger.
jgf86123
LOL yeah, and depending on how old it is, it might not even be worth the 1500
Gill
I can't believe my tank is half that size LOL
fpd4308
I have to agree it is a bit overpriced. It has been on CL for sometime now.

Mohaynow
No way, it says right in the description that its your "dream tank" I'm going to call and offer him double lol.
Rick
I saw that and was trying to figure out the dimensions. Looks like it's about 30" high by 18" deep. Makes it look huge however I would have trouble dealing with the depth. (18" isn't enough for a big tank like that) I also was trying to figure out where the live rock is. Unless there is a sump underneath which I think would be mentioned in the ad there can't be much.
cklskypilot
its a show tank. theres no way you could make this into a reef tank. and it does look like it may have around 30# of rock. I might pay a 1,000 for it. but no more than that. looks like its only about 12-14 inch deep.
jackaninny
$1000 tops and that's if it has a nice skimmer and good lights. He'll get desperate and lower that price in a hurry.

reef165
Wish that was true, It's been for sale at least 2 monthes and it started out at $3k if I remember right and just recently lowered to $2.5k. It dose look like a standard 240 (96x24x24) I think it's the stand he's proud of, but ya not worth it!!! $1 a gallon for used tank, then add maybe 200 for stand and 150 for hood, the equipment running it is prob a couple years old and outdated and needs to be replaced so not worth much, plus since it is a fish only, it prob has been medicated and wouldn't sustain a reef anyway. AquaticEngineer
I'd only pay that if it was made of 1.25" acrylic.
nhowe
Thats been online for a while. He'll come down fast on price. I thought he said once in a previous post on CL how long it was up and running. I'm not sure but I thought it was at least five years old.
