gradth Posted March 18, 2011 Share Posted March 18, 2011 So I have 4 pumps that all at once decided to die on me(scratch) All were misc pumps, mostly for mixing water or whatever. 2 catalina pumps(exactly like rios) 1 mag 7 or something 1 little rio powerhead. All worked last time I used them(i Used 3 of them last water change last week.) I soaked them in a bucket of vinegar all week to get them cleaned up. I pulled them out yesterday cleaned them and went to throw them in the mixing vat and one by one none of them will work. Not even my little rio powerhead.(scratch) I have always soaked my stuff in vinegar. All the pumps are a couple years old but only really used sparaticaly. Why all of a sudden would they ALL stop working. Sorry I know the reason, but im just fustrated and need to vent. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gradth Posted March 18, 2011 Author Share Posted March 18, 2011 so I feel really dumb now. I just pulled one of my korilias out of my tank and put it in to find out it wont fire either. Turns out I have a outlet or two that are not working. So yes, I should check everthing before ranting in a post. LOL Turns out the gfi switch that runs 4 different outlets was tripped and just so happens that 3 out of that 4 are the outlets I tried.
