Mr S
I know I am known for my fabulous picture taking skills. All jokes aside, what is a good cheap camera that will take good pictures. I don't need anything fancy and my cell phone sucks so any suggestions would be great. It also has to be very user friendly.

steelhead77
Hey Roger, I've got an older Fuji E550 point and shoot I'll let you have for a killer price. It's a pretty nice camera and takes some pretty good pics on Auto: I think even you can take some decent shots with this camera. (laugh) You're welcome to try it before you buy it if you'd like. I've got several memory cards and I think I still even have the box. LMK if you're interested.
Mr S
Scott, sounds awesome. Do you want to meet up after school on Monday around 3:30 or 4? I have some rose anemones I can trade you for. LOL They are babies of the ones I got from you!!!!
returnofsid
If you're wanting to stick to a point and shoot, which I assume by your question, regarding a "cheap camera," I would suggest a Cannon, in the G series.

Rick
Really a lot of options. I bought my wife a Canon SD1200 Elph which is really easy to use but doesn't make a good reef tank camera. (Not flexible enough to work good for the odd lighting) I would go down to the camera store and play around with several to get an idea of what you want (be careful not to make a spontaneous purchase) and then go home and check the reviews for the ones you like. (Read between the lines to glean the important stuff and ignore the garbage)
Mr S
Thanks Rick. I will give Scott's camera a try and see what I like. If his does not work out I am on my way to the local camera shop!!!!
NoobtoSalt
Is anyone else here concerned that Roger is looking at technology here???
