vanz
Alright, so my anemone is always getting my hopes up when he always appear to look like splitting, this time it seriously looked like something was going to happen. He got out of his hole, stretched his base far apart, and then his mouth started opening up. When I saw this, I went ahead and turned off the tunze, I didn't want the anemone to head straight for it right after a split. I think I interrupted his plan...cuz now he's back to normal. I actually left the tunze off all night. I've seen him split before, but that was almost a year ago. Just wanted to have 3 RBTAs, they are like the coolest things under actinics. So the question is, can an anemone retract it's splitting process?
nu2reef-n
I don't know if they can stop their splitting or cloning of themselves. I do know I wish mine would stop splitting itself. I always worry it will end up in the closed loop intake, or on top of an SPS colony.

nu2reef-n
Green bubble tip. I have three of them now. My clowns host in one, and I have an anemone crab in the second. The third is down on the rocks and impossible to remove from the tank without tearing apart the aquascaping.
