gawf4fun
Sadly yesterday I returned to my office after spending a half hour or so in the warehouse and noticed my bartlett's anthias had jumped to an untimely demise. I've avoided adding wrasses to my Aquapod at the office for this very reason, but alas he/she took the plunge. Are anthias known to be jumpers? I don't really want to put any protection on top but really enjoy watching the anthias swim and due to their feeding needs, can't really have them in my tank at home. I would appreciate any feedback from knowledgeable anthis people. Thanks, mark
NoobtoSalt
I had a pair of bi-color anthias for quite sometime and they never had the opportunity to jump out as I did have a cover on the tank. I would highly suggest it. Even with my screen top on the tank I had both of my firefish jump out as well.
Michael7979
Yes, I have heard they can be prone to jumping. Which is why I'm still thinking about getting some.
madmike
Any fish can jump, I've had a powder blue tang jump on me before. Uncovered tanks are just asking for problems IMO

gawf4fun
Thanks fgor the feedback gentlemen. With my aversion to lids/screens/tops on my office tank, I think I'll invest in a small clown as I've not heard of clowns going airborne. Cheers, mark
Googs
Didn't know firefish were jumpers...I don't have a cover on my aquapod either. I know two cats at my house would be very happy if he jumped out. If you ever get a cover for your pod Mark, let me know what you did and I might copy you. I just don't want to lose any light. Also Mark, I have a couple frags that need a good healing. Think I could put them in your frag tank to heal up?

Googs
No problem. Two favias got turned over for a day, one onto a ricordia which just went to town and ate half. Glue doesn't hold well when I have an emerald crab flipping everything over.
CoralCrazy
I had a clown carpet surf.
gawf4fun
I had a clown carpet surf. This got me wondering, if a carpet anemone went surfing, would it be considered magical?
