cschwarz
So about a week ago my heaters in my reef tank blew up. and my temp in my tank went from 78F to 90F+ so i lost most of my sps frags and my fish. but know most of everything that is alive is almost fully recovered. But unfortunately my maxima clam is only opening about 50% of what it use to. Do you have any idea what i can do to help it along?. My water quality is back to where it should be. but know i have algae again tanks been up and running for 6 months and never had algae like this. it’s like i am having to cycle my tank once again lol. ReeFit
i would send your clam somewhere else for recovery until your tank settles down. Theres still a good chance that the clam will still die regardless of the tank conditions going through that kind of stress. clams tend to die off slowly in most cases. cschwarz
ok i will ask around. but would the stress of moving it be just as bad?
