impur Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Welcome to the site! Great looking tank, i love the stand. Can you give me some info on that tank down in the stand? And the designs on the canopy are cool, great idea! Quote
josh Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Sweet setup. I like the window to the refugium (?) in the bottom. Looks good! Quote
saltwater143 Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 The tank below is our 35 gallon refugium. We have at least 5 different plants down there and we wanted to keep it open so we could put fish down there or change it up if we wanted to. It is loaded with all different critters for the mandarin. I have all my tanks in a cycle. My 125 drains into the refugium. The corals that are in the pic are fake. They were in another tank but we are selling it so i threw them in this one for now. Down where the tank is I also store my ballast for the halides, power strips, extra equipment, etc. If you got any other questions then feel free to ask. Quote
csrdph Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Very pretty tank! Looks really good!!!! Thanks for sharing! Quote
mister crabs Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I really like the big chunk of LR on the right...what kind is it? where did you get such a large piece? Quote
saltwater143 Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 it's actually desert rock. Mainly used for base rock. Quote
mister crabs Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 where did you get it at? I like the size and shape Quote
saltwater143 Posted January 22, 2007 Author Posted January 22, 2007 I got it a LFS in Albany, OR. He had a few big peices and I bought one and so did my friend. I am not sure if he has any more of that size. Quote
