mister crabs Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 electrical tape or masking tape for a pattern works well and helps cuts stay straight and clean Quote
dippin61 Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 your pics didnt show up right.. here ya go Quote
dippin61 Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 oh.. and from the little i know about T5's, isnt it a better idea to have the fan blow down across the bulbs instead of perpendicular? Quote
CCCP Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 dude no fence but the stuff looks really crapy, well at list the way you cut off your overflow box, i dont know what were you using to cut it like that but you over heated your blade, looks like it was melting acrilic not cuting it :P about the fans, ................ no words to describe it, but if i was u i would of cut openings on the sides for the fans to blow down across the bulbs just like dippin61 was suggesting. but as far as i know you have same frag system i have and didnt used fans at all and they do just fine i will post picture for you right now, just get yorself a fixture legs from" ebay" or whatever and do what i did works great. pictures are below Quote
CCCP Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 and another advantage of this is you dont need to take off your entire hood to clean acrilic. oh and about your fency overflow box, just use 1" pvc pipe for your overflow works great .good luck. Quote
