Big Dave Posted May 18, 2010 Share Posted May 18, 2010 Hey guys- I want to sale my huge plating hydno. It's attached to a rock and it's about 16" x 12", roughly. I'd like to get around $150 for it. It's a nice big show piece and I'd like to see it go as it is now. This thing really glows under actinics. If there is enough interest, I might be willing to break it up into a few smaller pieces too. It doesn't sting any corals like the typical hydno's do - seems like a totally different polyp formation, but I was told it is a type of Hydno. It's been a model citizen in my tank for years, just time to get rid of it. Let me know if you're interested! (laugh) I have more growing in my tank besides the big mama! If I don't sell it in the next 3 or 4 days I might break it into 5 or 6 big pieces.
