NoobtoSalt
So I figured I'd give it a try on the forum since the other freshwater tank sold pretty fast, I've got a lot invested as most of you know your stuff on here about Saltwater and the equipment this is a nice setup. 50 gallon column tank Rena XP2 filter 12 african chiclids (3-5 inches) 2 larger plecostomous (10-12 inches) just ordered some filter pads and carbon inserts so those would go with the setup as well. Asking $
puntific
I used to keep Chiclids. They were really cool.... but the landscape is so boring... puntific

ThePremiumAquarium
That was going to be my suggestion lol. Turn that sucker into a saltwater beauty! Drill it, paint the back black, toss a nice halide pendant or hood over it and build a way cool rock column using pvc or acrylic rods and stock that puppy full of beautiful corals and fish! I think the wife will come to love it
bswe22
Thats what I decided to do with my 55 gallon cichlid tank today. I will start the process very soon. I will now have 3 different tanks I am setting up. A 38 gallon reef, a 33 gallon long frag tank and now the 55 gallon FOWLR tank. What am I thinking? (nutty) All in a one bedroom apartment. NoobtoSalt
I wish I could but I've got to come up with some cash to get the right lighting for my 75 gallon salt tank as it is. I'm sure that sooner or later I will end up with another salt tank just not at the moment.
MrScuito
I dont think your lighting is bad short of helides but maybe dif temp bulbs would be nice. When you do upgrade let me know what you want for your current light
NoobtoSalt
Yeah it's not that the lights I've got are bad, just not great for how deep my tank is. I will get with you once I get a new setup. Should be within the next two weeks.
NoobtoSalt
So the fish in the tank should be gone tomorrow so if anyone is interested in the tank and pumps and stuff let me know. $150 obo for the tank accessories and pump.
NoobtoSalt
Changed the price of the setup. I want to get a new light system this week and although I can afford it the wife wants me to show her that I will focus on one tank... So I will take $175 for the setup.. NoobtoSalt
bump to see if anyone is still intersted. I did loose one fish 2 days ago so now it only has 11 Cichlids. The fish got stuck inside the ornament. I have three large ornaments that will go with it as well as a few other things. PM me for details but it's still around.
