Thank you Kats!(clap) I have about 5 gallons (50-70 lbs?) in a bucket I can't use. she said it was taken out of the tank yesterday, so I'm sure there's still lots of life in it. Not sure how much die off there will be (it didn't stink tonight when I put it in the tank), but I need it to cycle my new 55 gal setup anyway.
