CA2OR
I have a set of zoa's that seems to be getting attacked by something. None of my other corals or zoa's are having this issue. I can't dip the corals as they are on the main base rock to my cave....any idea what this is and what I can do about it? Seems to be some kind of algae(scratch)
impur
I would say they are not getting enough flow, so its allowing the algae to grow on the polyps. I actually had this happen to my PPE colony last week when i put it on the sand. After i moved it to a lot more flow, the algae receded and the polyp reopened. I would get a soft toothbrush and try to brush the algae away. Then try to get more flow to those polyps Good luck
CA2OR
Re: One set of my zoa's seems to be getting attacked thanks Miles....i will give that a shot today....they are in a relatively high flow area but the rocks surrounding them may be preventing the flow from hitting them Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
