I want to run a aqualifter on a float valve for my ATO and I figure I only need it to run 1.5 min. a day so if I had a timer I could set for 2 min. it wouldn't need to run for an additional 13 min. or would that just be ok and not put much stress on it? andy Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Home Depot has in-wall timers (like this) that should work (check the package to make sure it works down to the minute though); I just use my ACjr for that kind of thing though. Might be worth shopping around a bit for a used controller, it'd probably end up being only a bit more expensive than a reliable DIY when it's all done.
