Rugbyfish Posted December 23, 2009 Share Posted December 23, 2009 I have an Aquacontroller and I have been relatively pleased with it so far. Well, I did a big water change Sunday and now I have noticed the thermometer for the Aquacontroller seems to be freaking out. The temperature seems to be jumping around 3 to 5 degrees and it says the tanks now at 83 degrees!! - which I knew didn't make sense. So I got the old back up, glass thermometer out to verify (yup, we are sitting comfortable in the mid 70s. So I adjusted the Aquacontroller so that the gauge would read correct and ran off to work. I am hoping to go home tonight and find that I didn't turn the heater on all day or had the fans on all day if it wasn't needed. Anyone have any ideas I what happened here? Did the thermometer just go bad? Was is a coincidence with the water changes (which I just can't believe). And Now what do I do? Does anyone have a Aquacontroller thermometer laying around that I can buy? Please share your suggestions/thoughts/experiences. Happy Holidays! madmike Posted December 23, 2009 Share Posted December 23, 2009 Yep, unfortunately a known problem with the Aquacontrollers. I have gone thru 1 this year.
