jgf86123 Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 well, i picked up a used octo skimmer, the nw110, last night from lundy's dad, thanks again man, and after getting it home, found out that it wont fit below my stand, is there a, anyway to make the skimmer smaller, or b, should i just rebuild my stand, making it 6-8 inches taller, to give me room, or c, since the stand is over size for the tank, cut a hole in the top of the stand to give me room to get into the skimmer from the top? any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated, and rebuilding the stand really wouldnt mean more than taking the legs off and putting taller ones on. thanks all Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Saltfinsax Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 Is there a way to plumb it to the side or back of the tank on the out side?. Maybe make another sump or something just so you can get it working for now. Kinda sucks when you get something and it dosent fit the way you thought it it might. Just throwing some idea's out there.
