Hog Head
The impeller is turning backwards. Is there a fix for this unit or is the fix to get a new powerhead?
finch6013
I think if you take the impeller out and put it back in it will correct itself. I heard that the magnets can get out of alignment.

Thanks for the help. Googled it and all I got was crap about modded Koralia's.
finch6013
Is it plugged in right? might be a really dumb suggestion. I am an electrician so I have to ask. I have seen things plugged in wrong and they ran funny.
CA2OR
Contact this guy at Korellia I have more information on him but that is all you need. He is the only guy that does support for Korelia's on the Westcoast. Good guy. CA2OR
He can handle all of your Korellia needs...including getting others like if you wanted to upgrade to the controllable ones. He was willing to swap out my K3's for the controllable ones at no additional cost. But I would have to buy the controller of course

CA2OR
I was going to say...either he does that or sends you the parts. As stated he is willing to swap both my K3's and a K4 for brand new ones or controllables.

Hog Head
Removed the K1 and put in K4 for now. So far no sand storm and nothing seems to mind the extra flow.
Rick
Removed the K1 and put in K4 for now. So far no sand storm and nothing seems to mind the extra flow. If your sand has been in for awhile then it should be okay other than possibly a little sand shifting around. My SEIO M1100 (1100gph) is on the back pointed at the front of the tank (18" deep) and it doesn't stir up the sand.

Noticed a couple of mushrooms that don't like the extra flow too much but all else seems ok.
