newfisher
Any one have any experience with Sea horse tanks? Fragile, but what was your experience? What to do/not to do? Thanks, Jon
ClayTheSavageFraser
Becareful! If I were you I would get the upgrade and turn your corner tank into the seahorse tank. Clay
Rick
There are a couple of members here doing Seahorse tanks. I researched it and decided against it myself but I did find they need a few things. First is the tank height is important. They need a certain amount of room up and down to do their thing. The second is that they need stuff in the tank to hang from. Another requirement is that they not be put with any aggressive eaters. Better to keep them by themself entirely because they are slow eaters and the other fish will take the food before they get a chance to eat. The tanks also need to be relatively low flow as well and the temps are more critical (as I recall they are normally a little lower than the typical reef). Some of the others with actual experience will certainly chime in as well with anything I missed or that I got wrong.

theJenchild
Also keep in mind that they produce A LOT of waste for their size. So water changes are critical.
