Byrd
I really like that flamehawk. I might have to get one of those. I'ld do it in a heartbeat-Sad/odd thing was it jumped. I've never heard it. Since they sit around I think he was sitting on my mag float which was up high and something freaked it out and well out he went, found him dried up. They are the coolest fish-always up front-that guy was like in every photo, they dont have the air sack or whatever its called so they dont float they sink. when they swim its funnier than heck, its like flap flap flap, sink, and then all over again until it gets to a spot where he rests. Its not a fish that is swimming around all the time. It literally could sit against the side of the tank, its fins are curled to hang on Very cool, lots of personality. I am most likely getting another Dudes name was Bart for obvious reasons-or not Here you can see him "hanging in"; and another shot;

CA2OR
snowflake eels are reef safe? How much do they run?
Rick
snowflake eels are reef safe? How much do they run? Reef Safe - Yes, Small fish and invert safe - No. Although IME I haven't seen mine eat a single snail, crab, or shrimp. It has however eaten a small orange clown and a fairly good sized gold head sleeper goby. The latter surprised me as it was a larger goby (3 1/2" or so long). That and having to tear my tank apart to get a damsel out prompted me to remove my purple firefish and the orange spot goby. Both may have been in jeapordy with the Lionfish anyway. Rick
...How much do they run? Missed this in the previous reply. I got mine from Garrett so I'm not sure what the LFS sell them for other than some preliminary price checking I did. I think it's around $30. CA2OR
I have heard of dwarf moray's, saw one at WAVES for $300 said it only got like 12 inches or so....would that be reef safe?
Rick
I have heard of dwarf moray's' date=' saw one at WAVES for $300 said it only got like 12 inches or so....would that be reef safe?[/quote'] Check this page. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/ca/volume_3/cav3i1/eels/Eels.htm Looks like it would be okay with the same precautions (inverts and small fish may be in jeapordy). May want to be sure it is the Pacific Species though since it stays pretty small. (Unless your looking for one that will grow larger)

Nate213
They made me read this book. It helped quite a bit. So does having really nice equipment, but you can take great photos with just about any camera. Some of my best shots are with a crummy old $100 Nikon. http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Exposure-Photographs-Digital-Updated/dp/0817463003/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1253538378&sr=8-
