  1. Another vote for an update.
  2. Wow, just wow. Corals look stunning. Absolutely awesome work. I didnt catch it in the thread, but what brand and model of skimmer are you using on this tank? I couldnt ID from the sump photos. Hopefully the corals will look great again. Your tank is well on its way to getting TOTM even on ReefCentral. Keep up the awesome work.
  3. Still not working apart from the last pic of the angelfish. :(
  4. Just tried on Safari via my mobile network and the same issue. the image links are dead/broken.
  5. Same issue in Internet Explorer. I will try accessing on my phone which is via my mobile network and not connected through home network.
  6. I am using Chrome. Same browser I've been using for years. The older photos appear; not the new ones.
  7. None of the photos show up. :( Please fix links. I love seeing photos of your corals.
  8. Looking great. Loving the colours in the acros.

Would love to see updated photos of this tank and to know the filtration/dosing/maintenance behind the system. Tank has some stunningly coloured SPS.
  11. I've used Zeovit in the past without issues. However you must maintain strict parameters (within the range specified by KZ) or else you can lose corals. It is a system that needs daily attention; pumping the zeolite stones and dosing one or two of the products eg Zeostart on a daily basis, Zeobac 2-3 times a week. Other times 2-3 times a week you need to dose some of the colour enhancing products. It is a system that requires patience and careful observation. There are a few members on the Zeovit forum who will advise dosing schedules etc for you. I've been a member there for some years. However, me despite being from Europe, I prefer the American taste in how SPS corals should look; deep strong colours. The pale and thin tissue appearance is not my thing. I have used a modified version of the system on my current tank at the start to reduce nutrients and it works extremely well. Lastly, depending on tank size, at least initially, it can be very expensive. The products however, are mostly very concentrated.
  12. Wow, love the colours on the SPS. You've had very fast progress on this tank. Have a few questions, hope you dont mind: 1. Do you run GFO/GAC as part of the filtration on this tank? 2. What is your PO4 and NO3 levels? 3. Do you run white LED's @ 100% or lower at peak cycle time? 4. What do you feed SPS corals or do you dose additives? Many thanks and keep the photos coming.
  13. Thank you for the detailed lighting info. The FM Royal Blue is different from other tubes because most of the other Blue+ type tubes from ATI/KZ/Giesemann have a peak around 460+nm...whereas the FM tube peaks at around 450nm. Krzysztof Tryc uses these tubes and rates them well. The 450nm peak fluoresces pigments a little better. The Radium 20K MH has a massive 450nm peak as well. I really like your tube lineup; very balanced and covers the full spectrum nicely. I bought my Nikon D70 around 15 years ago as well. Unfortunately it died a couple of weeks ago. I've now moved over to Canon because my brothers shoot Canon and have loads of Canon gear. I am keeping all my Nikon lenses though; including the legendary 105mm f2.5 Nikkor (all metal construction, made in Japan etc). Your port hole looks way better than mine! I made mine out of large old mug and a piece of square acrylic.
  14. You have an absolutely stunning system. I lost my membership a while ago (site got hacked apparently) and rejoined because I wanted to follow your tanks progress. Love the FTS shot. What is the T5 combo you are using on the tank and the light duration? Many thanks.
