  1. What do you have? .40s&w, 7mm, powders?? Any trading?
  2. I still have a false perc that was an adult when I got it in '06
  3. I was able to eliminate them with tweesers and a very hungry yellow corris wrasse. I threw away a couple plating frags that were on the sandbed, and just moved all my monty's to where I could get to them easily. I checked them every other day or so and picked off any I found. After a couple months I was pretty sure they were gone and put the monty's where I wanted them. Its been over 7 months and havn't seen any signs of them since. Good luck.
  4. Reeftech, in the Medford Center. Great store, will have just about anything you need. Yes the prices are higher than up north, but he is the only real reef store south of Salem. Nui Kai, on Main street between Central and Front. (closed on Sunday and Monday) New owners. Not a big selection, but sometimes there are some real nice things. Frog Prince water gardens. Grants Pass south I5 exit, left at the Dutch Brothers, cross the tracks they will be on the left. (closed on Sunday) Great selection of zoas and paly's, good prices.
  5. I've always wondered how you place corals in a system like that. I guess you just strip down and go for a swim.
  6. Blackout might not be a bad idea for a day. Less stress for everybody. Any other input?
  7. Pump is way overkill, Dolphin diamond AmpMaster 4750. I will just have to throttle it back. It was too good a deal to pass up. There is about 7 verticle feet from water line in the display to the high water line in the sump. Only about 18" horizontal.
  8. I'm doing a larger sump and refugium in the garage. The new sump is directly behind the display through the wall, just 2' lower. The sump is ready, as is the return manifold and pump except for some loc-line parts that are currently being used. If all goes well I think I can do it in one evening, but nothing ever goes as plannedDOH! I'm just trying to cover all the bases before I start. Also replacing sump under display with frag tank.
  9. How long would you say you could go without your sump? I am changing from the sump under the tank to a remote sump in the garage. Weekends are too valuable right now to dedicate a whole day to the project. I'm thinking 2hrs a night for 2-3 nights. I have gone as far as I can with prep before I need to remove the old sump to drill some holes in the house, complete plumbing, etc. -120g display w/ MP40 and Korillia 4 -30g sump w/ skimmer, heater (hasn't been on in months), cheato, lots of rock, ATO thru Kalk reactor. Do you see any problems I would run into besides needing to top off. I would probably feed less during this time. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for the input, Gabe
  10. Check with your local glass shops. Definatly shop around, I've seen 200% price difference for the same sheet.
  11. The smallest of these clams was probably 8-10" The brown carpet anemone in this pic was over 3' across!
