katarian
Hi everyone, Hope everyone is having a great weekend This morning my wife spotted these white spots on our foxface. And it's only on one side. And no other fish seems to have it either, it's just him. But we are not sure what these spots are. Any help will be appreciated, thank you! milesmiles902
Fish looks a bit hungry. Feed them. Mysis, brine etc.
Gil&Fin
My first guess is a bacterial infection. If you can get him out of the tank and into quarantine it is best to treat him there. If not, try soaking his food in a mixture of Seachem Focus and Metro. Read the instructions on how to do that. Like Miles said, he looks thin, which means he probably isn't eating. I agree with him that you should try different types of food, especially mysis and brine, if you haven't done that already. This is my first go-to link in identifying diseases. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/fish-disease-index-pictorial-guide.285708/ There are also some treatment suggestions in that forum which you might find helpful. Good luck!
