I have those same half shell limpets and they reproduce great for me. I did have to build a guard for my skimmer as the little ones get trapped and make it noisy.

Here is a photo after todays cleaning, I guess I'm only at 6 months. Mostly soft and nems.

Just about 5 years now. I started with a 20 gallon from petco that I frankenstined a sump on the side of then a skimmer. Moved to a waterbox cube and now moved to a reefer 625xxl that's on month 7 and doing well after the usual issues of learning the tank. (aka that stupid redsea overflow valve, replace that thing)

I am liking some of the red sea stuff, the reefmat is nice for sure. The 160s are nice, but I think overkill, I have them at 40% and that seems plenty for lps.

Hi from the woods! Probably not many central wa reeferers but I'm in Olympia a lot also. Always down for trades, I will have berhuga nudies that need a home in a few months. Rainbow bubble babies.
