  1. I'm ready to exit the hobby after taking this tank to maturity... I've started traveling for work again and I have not had as much time for this in my current role. The tank is pretty deluxe, in great condition, has been stable and grown quite lush. I've spent a couple hundred bucks on it every week for 2 years now and it shows, having grown this from a smaller tank. Some really nice mature and highly desirable things in here... Red Sea 500 is 140 total gallons and has the following hardware:

    • Red Sea 800 skimmer
    • 2 heaters
    • 1/6hp chiller
    • 1 400 watt UV sterilizer
    • 2 AI 26 lights
    • 1 kessil flora sump light on a timer
    • AI nero
    • Red sea sump has gravity ATO, 4 media and filter bags and a I run a dsb in the refugium

Livestock is pretty diverse, but as always, I tend to go a bit aggressive:

    • Australian Marbled Catshark, 1 year old, near full grown at 26", quite docile but well adapted to the tank (another shark egg is incubating right now too!)
    • Yellow headed moray eel, quite big, 36" or so, beautiful animal but can be hungry for smaller animals that will fit in its mouth
    • Snowflake eel, 30", not shy!
    • Scopus Tang, full grown
    • Flame Angel full grown
    • Emperor Angelfish, nearly complete transition to adult, still a few colors left for it to be complete, GORGEOUS
    • 3 Lyretail Anthias, 2 female one male in the harem
    • Domino Damsel, full grown, not too aggressive
    • Two chromis, that were once intended as feeders and made it to adulthood, now a breeding pair
    • Breeding pair of Ocellaris clowns
    • Shrimp goby and pistol in the sump just enjoying their life together
    • Antennata Lionfish, full grown, eating frozen and beautiful

Full clean up crew and interesting invert collection of diverse inhabitants: conchs, snails, hermits, cucumbers, stars, urchins, tube anemone, all the expected and more

      Corals include:

      • 3 Bubbletips anemones, two were split rainbows and one is a gorgeous deep red
      • massive GSP colonies of two different colors
      • massive red sea pom pom pulsing like mad all day long xenia colonies
      • green bounce recordia colonies
      • galaxia colonies
      • leathers of various sizes, but these are not your average toadstools
      • euphyllia colletion
      • war corals colonies encrusted
      • Pavona colony
      • Psammocora colony
      • various zooanthid colonies, but nothing boring and brown, more like rastas and other collectable stuff
      • caulastrea colonies of good size
      • blasto merletti colony
      • colonies of mushrooms and all the other stuff that you might expect... again, I was at Cuttlefish every friday for a couple years dropping bills, so this is net result of that... lots in there, hard to really offer an inventory.

      • Essentially, this is a well kept nicely maintained setup, with a boatload of accessories and dry goods run by someone who knows their way around this hobby for a few decades. You'd be wise to take me up on a nice package full of amazing, well cultivated and healthy livestock. My numbers are solid and this thing has been stable for a long time, and it shows.

I'll take $3000 for this if you come and move it, and I'll give a bit of help. Not looking to negotiate on it, so please don't try. Ultimately, this is a smoking deal for someone who wants to part it out, or expand their operation, or start out smart.
