Like the title says, a variety of skimmer parts. Hopefully the picture work for you. I'm in Hockinson and if you are interested I can meet some where if necessary.

Works great!

All the little fishy are doing great.

The stand is gone. It was a cheap fiber board one, so I disassemble it and it's going to recycle place.

I looked up some more information and it did work for the ones that left the skimmer off for 10 days. Others had skimmer going and it didn’t work. I will let anyone know in 8 days. I’m crossing my fingers.
My Blue Tang is alive and well, I used the Herbana Microbe lift for the full 10 days plus and all of the Black spots are gone. My Yellow Wrasse had torn tail and it healed ( it could have been ick ) so I used 1/2 & 1/2 Herbana and Imagitirium ick cure and every thing is looking excellent, even snails , crabs and shrimp . I am going to give it 1/2 dose a day taking turn for another week. I was hoping to avoid strong chemicals. I tested the water a couple of times and it was great, it kind of smells good too in the room. I haven't been running the skimmer which they recommend. I was not to sure about these products but I like them for now.

I recently learned that Mollies can be acclimated to life in a reef tank and although I'm not a huge fan of Mollies it got me curious about what other species this can be done with.
Anyone know of other brackish fish that can transition to life in a reef tank? Bumblebee Goby?
Not sure about brackish fish, but the black Molleys I used the m from 1981-1995 for cycling. Probably any warm water fish that goes from salt to fresh will work. Sturgeon are a local fish . I have seen little mini’s sharks , scats, Sturgeon, bass .

If it's a worm that they have, I wonder if the pig dewormer I used to eliminate flat worms would work? Not sure how safe it is for fish as I removed all inverts and fish when I used it.
The herbatana seems to be working out really good. Worms are gone. I don’t think that I will have to go past the 10 day treatment.

5 days and I think it’s getting better. As usual time will tell.
Today the Tang is looking great! No black spot, all of the other fish are good also. My skimmer has been off all the time as directions said to. Still a few days left. Inverts are still here and healthy looking 👍

@Jeffster sorry for the long delay, haven’t been on for awhile. If this is still available, do you happen to know or can post the width of the stand under the cabinet? Want to be sure the sump I have will fit.

It’s 36 inch all the way across and 10 inch deep

I have been trying to give this stand away, now 2 overflows are included. Also about 40 lbs. of coral rock. If interested pm me for when and where. Take one take all please.

I’ve been using this Hebrona
for 5 days and no adverse problems. The Tang is looking better to me, still 5 days to go. I have some Picric just in .case ( I still need to find mixing recipe for it.

I’ll ask my vet about it. He dealt with it on a blue tang as well
Thanks, that’s a Blue Tang I’m working with.

CHas anyone had any experience with Picric acid solutions? In one of my Aquarium books by John Tullock he describes it as a dip for black spot disease ( parasite flat worm).diluted with salt water. I just ordered some from Amazon. I am using ML herbatana right now I’m not sure about it. So I will dip em when it arrives. Blue Tang has some on it.

I have used herbtana. I had some clowns get what I thought was ich at the time. Later identification led me to believe it was brooklynella. Herbtana did nothing for this problem, but it’s not supposed too. I noticed that it smelt a lot like pinesol. When I would add it it my zoas and toadstools would close up. They opened back up a few hours later. Also, my skimmer would go nuts, if left on. I’m not the most experienced person on this forum by a long shot, but I think the most tried and true method for curing disease is a Q.C. Tank. Most of the the most effective medications are not reed safe. Just my opinion, Pete

I was wondering if any one has used Herbacana microb lifter? I am using some for a blue tang with what looks like black spots. It’s reef safe.

Anyone in the Vancouver area have some Chaeto I could have or buy.
I might in a few days, I just took some in to The Reef Box last week. If you want to drive to Hockinson I could give a handful sooner, like today.

I have 2- 55w black box aquarium lights, never used. I bought them for backup a year and 1/2 ago. They work great, I just tested them. Can be daisy chains, dimmer. Asking $100 for both. Look just like Aquamars. Jeff 360-980-0461
