How long have you had the copperband for? What all does it eat? Is the mystery wrasse still available as well?

I have had the copperband for about a year now.  It eats anything I throw in.  My prepared food (mostly mysis and clams), and LRS prepared food as well.  Loves nori too.  Yes they are both still available.

Also, is the red mandarin a male of female? And what size is it?

The mandarin is female, pretty large, i would say maybe ~3" in length.

Let me know if you are interested, I will give you a deal if you get all three.

No, I am still looking. I have seen a couple tanks around 300 gal on FB. You might want to check there. I am not ready to go up that that volume.

Need two 180+ gallon units - preferably 210-300. Did you ever find a tank?

I am in the process of selling my 180g complete setup (tank/stand/canopy/sump/equipment/livestock).  It wont be 'budget', but it will be a good deal for what you get, especially if someone is willing to take everything at once.  let me know if you want more details.

  6. I have had similar experiences with my wife.  I am just glad that she tolerates me and the hobby enough to stick around 😜

I have tried on several occasions getting her own smaller tank setup, something easy to maintain that she could have a clown/nem setup or similar in there.  It works out well for the first few weeks but then I have found that they just end up being another one of my tanks haha.

  7. Barrier Reef has kind of been my go to, there are a couple more in Seattle but i wasnt too impressed (and that is a longer drive for me, so maybe that is why).  also on the Peninsula there is 'The Shark Reef', not too bad and worth a pop in every now and again.  I dont buy too much anymore though.

So my first roll lasted me two months and I feed my tank twice a day and the corals 2 times a week. Each roll cost around $20 so I stocked up on black Friday. My total water volume is around 220 factoring in the rock.  I was washing and bleaching my filter socks on a weekly basis. The other question I get asked about is if it smells...I've never noticed an odor from it. It also helps to keep my water cleaner cause the waste is no longer sitting in the water until I change the sock.

wow, two months.  I had no idea they could last that long, kind of winning me over on the idea of getting one of these... the every other day filters sock change and weekly wash is easy but gets old.
