  1. Fish are doing awesome Brian! I got a 7" clown tang who's been an [language filter] for years until the Kole and Lieutenant showed up and put him in its place. Whole tank has mellowed out. The rest are doing fantastic as well.

  2. I do 20% weekly water changes and it keeps my levels near identical on both tanks. I use skimmer only, no filter media or pads. Also I only feed nls pellets small amounts 2x daily

red sea 350: powder blue tang, 10 chromis, royal gramma, mandarin goby, clown

    red sea 750: 1 angel, 1 butterfly, 5 tangs, 5 wrasse, 2 clowns

    Nitrates : 5 salifert

    Phos: .05-.1 hanna

  3. Personally I don't trust hydrometers at all or icp. Have you tried a new refractometer with 35ppt calibration fluid, not ro/di?

I've had issues of rtn in the past when my salinity creeped up (dosing lots of kalk + 2 part) or when the temp rose (bad temp probe and junk heater)

Also what is your temp and how is it measured?

I don't think its your nutrients or traces.

  4. 10% whites, 5% red/green, and max'd out on all other channels for 10hours on my hydras. Personally not a fan of radions at all, not worth it. I'd try and get more spread via led light bar or my favorite (t5s) to eliminate shadowing.
