The main concern stated was brownish algae.  I use Phosban and carbon as well.

So sorry!  I know how it feels.  I came home from Maui and my tank had leaked, everything dead and water everywhere.  Just keep on keeping' on!!

Thanks for the help!  Going to give it a shot today and really considering making it rimless.

It's along both sides and the bottom of the false wall.  It is not in use right now, just been sitting for awhile and thought I would try and spruce it up.  I was running white vinegar and water just to get some gunk out and noticed the silicone peeling.  I was thinking about yarding out the whole false wall to check everything but that thing is in there pretty good.

I just picked up an older 29 Biocube and want to re-seal it since the original seams are peeling up.  Anyone have any tips, tricks or is it just cut and peel the old silicone off.  Tis time consuming to say the least.

Glad everything worked out!!  I had my old 55 leak while the family and I were in Maui.  Came home to a half empty tank, water on the floor and a very upset wife.

You can always attach it to a small rock and keep it on the sand to isolate it.  They do spread quick.
